If you are charged with Illegal Consumption or Possession of Alcohol there’s more to lose than money. Any sentence for this offense, even Court Supervision, results in a suspension of your driver’ license for a period no less than 3 months. If you receive a conviction, the suspension is “discretionary” and the Secretary of State can suspend your driver’s license up to one year.
